Professional journalists are welcome to apply for accreditation to report on the Climate Engineering Conference 2017 in Berlin. Please follow the guidelines below and submit the required information by Wednesday, 4 October at 4 pm CEST (Central European Summer Time). To obtain accreditation after this deadline, please contact the IASS Press Team by telephone or e-mail: +49 331 288 22 479, email@example.com. Please contact us as soon as possible. Due to limited capacity at the conference venue, we can only accredit a certain number of journalists.
Accreditation allows journalists to attend all events at the conference. The preliminary conference programme can be found here.
Please note that the parallel sessions at the conference are conducted under the Chatham House Rule, i.e. participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) may be revealed without their explicit consent. This does not apply to the plenary sessions.
Interviews can be arranged in advance via e-mail or at the conference itself. A separate room for interviews will be available on Tuesday, 10 October and Wednesday, 11 October. Subject to capacity, it can be reserved in advance.
Journalists who wish to film at the conference require a separate filming permit to do so. They can apply for this permit together with the accreditation. No special permission is required for photography and audio recordings.
