The Call for Contributions is now open

Submit your contribution to CEC21 virtual

The CEC21 Steering Committee are excited to announce that the Call for Contributions is now open!

The Steering Committee would herewith like to invite submissions from those interested in presenting their work at the conference. Following the confirmation of the CEC21 session proposals, the call for contributions is the second of three ways of applying to participate at CEC21. At a later date, the CEC21 Steering Committee will open registration for non-contributing participants on a first-come-first-served basis. Those who are interested in attending the conference without a specifically assigned role are encouraged to register during this period.

The call for contributions is now open and will close on 30 June 2021.

Submissions should not exceed 200 words in length. Proposed contributions are welcome to span a range of traditional academic (i.e. a talk or presentation) and creative mediums. Poster proposals - in traditional academic as well as multi-media formats (i.e. video/graphic/audio) - are also welcome. Both pre-recorded audio/video material and posters will be made available to registered participants on the conference platform during the whole conference period, as well as being presented during the (virtual) poster session.

Each submission will be reviewed by the Steering Committee. Contributions will be selected based on quality, proposed format, thematic fit and available slots. Successful contributors will be invited to register for CEC21. To ensure that a diverse range of voices is heard at CEC21, each participant will be limited to two active contributing roles (i.e. convening a session, giving a talk or presenting a poster). The Steering Committee aim to ensure a wide variety of views are represented and hence select contributions in a way we deem fitting for diverse representation.
