Feisal is an Environmental Engineer by training and is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Environmental Science at Independent University, Bangladesh. He also is the Research Coordinator at the International Centre for Climate Change and Development (ICCCAD). His expertise and interests include: climate change adaptation, adaptation technology, and low carbon development. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo, Canada. He also has a Master’s from the University of Western Ontario, Canada and a Bachelor’s degree from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

As the Research Coordinator, Feisal oversees the research programmes and projects of ICCCAD. He is currently spending his sabbatical leave at the Institute of Hazard Risk and Resilience at Durham University where he exploring research collaboration between ICCCAD and Durham University.
